Christmas is just around the corner, and this year DCUK FM are pleased to announce that we will once again be supporting the NSPCC and donating Christmas gifts to a number of their sites, specifically those which help and support children and young adults with learning difficulties overcome the effects of sexual abuse.
DCUK FM are inviting work colleagues and friends to purchase a small gift, or alternatively donate any amount of money you can spare, and a gift will be purchased on your behalf. Christmas gifts do not have to be your typical materialistic goods, many of these vulnerable children require the most basic of essentials, including, toiletries, books, bedding and clothing.
Your generosity can make the world of difference. Bring joy to a child on Christmas morning by simply donating a small gift to such a worthy cause. Listed below are examples of suggested gifts:
Hats, Scarfs, Gloves
Bedding - pillows, duvets, etc.
Age Appropriate DVD's
Please could all gifts be delivered to the office by 13th December, this will enable us to have enough time to organise all of the gifts and divide them accordingly, dependent upon age and gender. Once we have organised the presents, we will deliver them to the NSPCC, who can then distribute them to the children over the Christmas period. Please note, any gifts you are able to donate must be left unwrapped, as they will need to be vetted by the NSPCC. Gift bags and tissue paper will be available at the office.
If you wish to find out more details, please contact Charmaine Mills in the office on either 0870 112 9196 or Charmaine.firstname.lastname@example.org
