On Sunday 28th July 2019 the Laing Family organised a fundraising day in aid of Parkinson’s UK. This is a charity close to their hearts as a member of their family has been affected by the disease for 5 years at the age of 43.
The day was a great turn out with approximately 300 people turning up, activities included face painting, bouncy castle, BBQ, licenced bar, tombola and even included a rugby match led by Charlie and Tommy Laing, which saw people who had never played rugby getting involved.
Bath rugby club heard about the fundraiser and invited Karl Laing to be a part of their new campaign All Sorts All Sports which celebrates all walks of life inspiring others.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition. This means that it causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time. Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson’s, although there are lots of treatments, there is no cure.
On the day they raised £4,013, including other donations this takes them to £5,000. There is still time to donate: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/millie-hannibal?fbclid=IwAR3geCjRkHbpLQilcSJdvuhp25F5SmbX-zjsaifsrsqAdmdsgZYfahkLyxw
