As part of a mini tendering process via the Northern Housing Consortium, we are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a place on the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) framework agreement for Lot 1.2 the supply of asbestos removal and remedial services.
The Northern Housing Consortium was created over 20 years ago, and was designed to offer members a trusted, compliant, fair and straight forward procurement service, supporting over 400 members throughout the UK.
The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy and researches fusion energy and related technologies, with the aim of positioning the UK as a leader in sustainable nuclear energy.
Due to the ongoing maintenance and refurbishment works at one of the mixed-use sites, the requirement for asbestos removal and remediation was established. DCUK FM have extensive experience on similar schemes relevant to this project. With our extensive knowledge and experience in working within similar buildings we look forward to building a professional working relationship with the UKAEA creating long lasting positive impacts on the local economy and communities.
