All works were requested to be carried out to a tight one week schedule during a shutdown period at the college. The works were scheduled between DCUK FM's Contracts Manager, Supervisor and Maintenance team on site to ensure that all timescales were kept to.
Summary of works:
Ventilation cleaning was undertaken to 7 kitchens located within the training kitchens. All the systems were of a similar layout however they varied in size of canopies and dimensions of ductwork.
A large number of access doors were installed into the systems to provide cleaning to industry standards of TR19.
Specialist access equipment was utilised within the works carried out.
Roof top access was needed to clean the associated AHU’s. The AHU’s consisted of cleaning through to atmosphere and including the removal of all filters and replacing with new.
