This project included the installation of a supply & extract system to the kitchen and canteen areas, this included all ductwork, fans and associated equipment.
 

  • All of our employees hold the correct over ground and underground qualifications required to work on such projects.

  • We also carried out the servicing of air conditioning to the site office areas and to the full servicing to 43 internal units and 9 external units located at the above site.

  • DCUK FM were asked to install the kitchen & canteen ventilation systems as per the specification provided by the contractor and submit a quote.

  • After submitting a quote it became apparent that DCUK FM could make a significant saving to the client if we were to design a new system ourselves and not follow the proposed spec, this included rerouting the ductwork so that a large saving was made on fire rated ductwork and using equivalent fans to those suggested which are of exactly the same spec and have been proven on similar projects to be of the same quality. The new system was design by DCUK FM and Bam Nuttall then approved the plans for the new system.
